Organized by students of the Graduate Program in Entomology of the university, the event will promote six days of lectures, mini-courses, panels and tables, bringing together about 600 entomologists from Brazil and all around the world.

This year's theme is "From the fundamentals to the prospection of new technologies", highlighting the advantages of the integration between technological advances and the fundamentals of entomology, in which both knowledges feed and enhance each other.

Among the participants are renowned national and international researchers in the field of Entomology, including Johan Billen, emeritus professor from KU Leuven, Thomas Groot, from Koppert Biological Systems, Jason Shmidt, from the University of Georgia, and Daniela Takyia, from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.

Until next July 16th, when the third registration lot will be closed, the cost is R$ 250 for undergraduate students, R$ 330 for graduate students, and R$ 460 for professionals. After this date, values will be adjusted.
